North German Altbier

Alts are like the original hoppy german beer. Traditional a little darker like a bock, but also a bit on the hoppy side. A pleasant deep brown with a very sweet malt character (much like that a very friendly dairy cow). This one is brewed the old-fashioned way with decoctions in the mash process. It yields an excellent body and a fine drinking german farm lager.
